There's a lot more to KL than a glitzy skyline. Food and city travel offer high quality and great value (download the Grab taxi app). A good city to walk in. A walking tour with David Tan of Guru Tours gave us glimpses into KL's past and present, as well as hints of the future. It is a suprisingly green city - citizens and authorities seem to love their trees. Shiny contemporary skyscrapers live comfortably alongside old structures that seem to be in no danger of disappearing - the casual visitor could be wrong. Some of the new buildings are beautiful, with clever incorporation of Islamic motifs, though the broad strategy of the town planners is a bit mystifying. A lack of stress in the way people negotiate their city belies its primary commercial focus.
Our best experience in KL was the Museum of Islamic Art which was exhibiting contemporary explorations of Arabic calligraphy. An exhibition worth visiting KL for - check out how liberating calligraphy from conventional rules unleashed a storm of immersive art.

Kuala Lumpur is nice city and very well connected with Metro and Mono and bus service. We could not able to use bus service as it required (compulsory touch-n-go card which we don't wanted to buy as its bloking your some money and for each traveller we need to buy it). We find challen for vegitarian people as there is hardly any option for vegitarian to eat in kuala lumpur but for other its heaven. We did most of our booking on klook and booking.com which were very smooth and hassle free. you can use your internation debit or credit card for transaction at most of places (again if you refill your touch n go card then that will also very handy)

Loved my trip to Kuala Lumpur - the city was vibrant and easy to navigate. The public transport system was very useful to get around and the rail link between the airport and KL Sentral station was super handy. I would recommend travellers to stay in the Bukit Bintang area to be close to the shopping malls and plenty of eateries.

We were travelling as a large family of 7 and wanted a mixture of experiences, we opted to use the hop on and off to get a feel for the city and the made some decisions on what we wanted to see, that was helpful. Top highlights - KL Bird Park, Time Square Mall, Batu Cave, Kanching Rainforest Waterfall. We didn’t bother to figure out the public transport, with having the kids with us it was much easier to just take taxi’s to places and still very affordable. For the majority of our trip we stayed at Traders Hotel, this was brilliant, perfect for the family, great facilities, and close to KLCC. We had some flights changes which meant we had to extend our stay for an extra couple of days, to make it a little more affordable we moved accommodation towards the end of our trip to be closer to China town and the markets and experience that part of KL, in the end we regretted that decision, that side of the city is not great for kids, it’s pretty rough and feels more like a backpackers / young adult scene. We still enjoyed exploring the markets but it wasn’t great for the kids. We discovered that Time Square Mall had very similar stalls in its upper levels and a whole lot more things for the kids to do in the Theme Park so that was a better experience. Over all some great adventures were had and we loved most of our time in Kuala Lumpur.

Everything was great.
Everything was great. People are friendly and always willing to help and give directions. I didn't speak Bahasa malaysia for almost 40 years and the people I asked for help managed to direct me back to the hotel on Tuesday night. The night the tree felled. Taxis and grabs were not running and the only back from Sungai Wang was to walk. People on the streets were telling me how and where to go. I do thank the 2 BMW mechanics who directed me back to the hotel.
Food was cheap and the exchange rate was excellent.
I found that night hours were safer than many towns in north America.

Mosques, Museums, Plenty of contemporary Malls, Central Market where you will find lots of souvenirs shops, Chinatown Market, Sense of Safety while moving around KL, Bukit Bintang Street livelihoods, tasty tropical fruits, Grab App and Maxim App for your easy rides , Celcom SIM card with their excellent network coverage and competitive price for one month subscriptions or any other subscription periods which is available easily at the arrival terminal KL International Airport.
IT was my second time stay in Concorde (after 10 years) and this hotel remains my favourite for a stay in Kuala Lumpur. Location is ideal (and Grab's come here very quickly) , walk to KLCC and Bukit Bintang. One of the best buffet breakfast with so many food choices. Very clean and spacious pool with nice sitting area. Live music with all bands performing hits and also take your song requests. I cannot find any flaws in this hotel and recommend everyone with family or for business visit to stay in this hotel.
Very, very impressive luxury building in central location right next to the brand new LaLaPort mall which features plenty of cool restaurants & shops. The infinity rooftop pool with superb view on the Petronas Towers is simply stunning, and so is the architecture & design of the flat & building which can compete with 5 star hotels. Most highly recommended spot and kind host who was also kind enough with my late arrival caused by an unanticipated 2-hour long queuing at passport control at the airport !
- Convenient location, 5min walk to the back of Fahrenheit (go out of the hotel, turn right and right again). There's an underpass to Pavilion from Fahrenheit.
- Helpful concierge team who assisted us with our massage appointment and advised us on the best route to airport.
- Great facilities, saw many Singaporeans were wondering around the hotel to check out the facilities.
- Away from the busy road of Bukit Bintang, hence there is a shortcut to the expressway to KLIA.
What I liked the most was its location & convenience - easy access to everything such as public transportation (trains, monorail, bus, etc.), wide range of restaurants, supermarket as it's in front of Nu Sentral Mall and the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. The hotel fulfilled my request for a room with a window. Thank you so much for that. But overall, this is a good hotel for a budgetary travel in KL especially for those solo travelers. :)
This was an excellent hotel to stay in KL. It’s a straight shot from the airport to KL Sentral, and the station adjoins a shopping mall and the hotel. The room was huge, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of foods. The rooftop pool was also really cool.
Download the Grab app to get around and/or take the trains.
Beware of pickpockets and monkeys at the Batu Caves.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. You can reach the KLCC park with the petrona towers in 10-15 min walking. Next to the hotel is a shopping mall called Pavilion and the area of Bukit Bintang which has a night market with lot of food options.
The staff of the hotel was always nice and welcoming.
The pool was nice and refreshing. The view out of our hotel room was interesting.
My stay at the Swiss Garden Residence in Bukit Bintang was terrific! The lavish setting and welcome gave me a sense of home. The spectacular views and well-appointed, roomy accommodations made for an unforgettable stay.
Because of the hotel's excellent location, it was easy to visit neighboring attractions, including Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Berjaya Times Square.
Convenient location at the bottom of Menara Tower. Two nearby metro / monorail stations. Bukit Bintang and Sentral station only 2 or 3 stops from the hotel.
Nice and rich International breakfast.
Good view on Menara and KLCC from the rooftop / pool.
Friendly and professional staff.
Small, but well equipped gym.
The location is good, walking distance to Pavilion/Bukit Bintang area and Suria KLCC/Petronas Twin Tower, which already covers the best spots of KL, especially for shopping. Hotel is very new, staff are super accommodating and helpful. Breakfast buffet selection was limited but the food quality was great.
I liked the space and 5 star views and amenities so much that I extended my stay. The security and staff treat you like family! I. Love the market super convenient and friendly helpful staff. I recommend this place over any hotel! Clean, fresh , new! I’ll be booking here every visit!
The location is very strategic, near with MRT Bukit Bintang station. The staffs are friendly and very helpful, especially when I need to order grab to go to airport, the security staff helped us to order it. And of course the price is quite cheap for hotel in that strategic location
Very closed to Sentral, next to monorail station. Simple rooms, enough for 1 night before departure to the airport. Wifi worked well. Breakfast are provided in the imbiss next to the hotel and it was a bit confusing. Basically it is indian food.
Hotel is not new and its not a 5 star hotel but room is clean, has everything except hair dryer.. Near monorail, bus station, mrt/lrt which is easy access for places to go. Nu Sentral mall is opposite side ans lots of restaurant beside hotel
